Welcome Back

Welcome back to my blog it is 2020 in other words, it's the new decade and I'm ready to start posting again. This year I'm kicking off in year 6, my finally year in primary school. I'm already swimming at school (Here are some photos.)

Anyways lets get back to the welcome back.
Since it's the start of the year, I had to do a getting to know you form. It has 7 areas around yourself: family background, things I don't like, things I like, What is important to me and my family, my friends, what I'm good at and what do I want people to know about me. Here is a photo and link:

If I Had Superpowers

Today I am writing about if I had three superpowers for a day which I could choose. The first superpower I would choose is super strength because It would help me stand up against bullies. I would use it to stop falling rock which are about to land on people and I would use them to help kids stand up against bullies. The second superpower I would choose is flight because it would make it possible to save people in planes and tall buildings. I would use this superpower to save people from burning planes and tall buildings and it could save people from falling. The final power I would choose is telekinesis because I could do everyday tasks without lifting a finger. I would use it to stop thing from falling like rocks or people. Challenge yourself writing down what you would do if you had three superpowers for a day which you could choose. Blog ya later!

What I Would Bring On A Voyage

Today I am writing about what I would bring for a voyage and had to bring 10 food items, if I was asked to go on a voyage with Nainoa for three weeks at sea and without using a fridge or freezer. The first item I would bring is a can of beans because beans last longer than most foods without going bad. The second item I would bring is a bunch of bananas for vitamins and the third item I would bring is a carrot for vitamins also. The fourth item I would bring is a bag of lollipops because they are delicious and the fifth item would be chicken. The sixth item I would bring is anzac biscuits because they also take a long time to go bad. The seventh item I would bring is a chocolate bar (yum) and the eighth item I would bring is a ready salted chip packet and the ninth item I would bring is a bag of potatoes. The final item I would bring is a bottle of water. Now challenge yourself by writing what ten food items you would bring. Happy holidays!

About the Water Project

Today I am writing about the Water Project, The water project started because people in places didn't have clear water. Did you know 1 in 8 people around the world have to find water every day and most of the water they find will make them sick. Without clear water people drop out of school, this why The Water Project started. The water project tries to get water to places like these, but they need money to do this so they would like people to donate to them. Link to water project site. Blog ya later.

Christmas Mufti Day

Today my school had a Christmas Mufti day. The Christmas Mufti day my school is having, is to help the school buy stuff like blankets and food for the Christmas hampers. Our school is going to give out the Christmas hampers to some people in the community. The Christmas Mufti day will help because we have to bring a gold coin to wear mufti which is Christmasy. It is a Christmas Mufti day because it is near Christmas. During assembly we looked like a army of Santas and elves.

Bigfoot Biking

This week two people from Bigfoot Bike Adventures came to teach our syndicate about biking and for some of us who didn't know how to ride a bike, how to ride a bike. First they talked to us about safety, this included: How to check a helmet, how to check a bike, good clothing to wear on a bike and about fine for not wearing a helmet. After they talked to us about safety and we put on the helmets they gave us we each got a bike, and started to ride around the court. They got the people who were confident on a bike and they started to play games, the people who weren't confident on a bike used the rest of the space to practice their biking skills. After we finished the biking we put the bikes and helmets away, then the two Bigfoot people gave out prizes. Here are some photos of the day:
