Molly Green Creations

Hello and welcome back to my blog and today I will be talking about afternoon Friday rotations for my syndicate. Every Friday afternoon I go with my school environmental group to the staffroom and a quarter of the group makes bees wax wraps and next we are making kawa-kawa balm. The rest of the group makes adverts which are going to be used to advertise our stall at Molly Green on Molly Green day. We are going to sell Eco-friendly confetti, Kowhai trees and vegetable seedlings, Eco squeeze kawa-kawa balm, bees wax wraps and Anzac biscuits. The other rotations make other products. Here are some photos of other rotation groups:

Portraits!

Aloha and welcome back to my blog, today I'm going to tell you about the portraits my syndicate did.  These portraits were unique because one side of the portraits was based on the present clothing, and the other was based on a decade. First we did a decade slide to decide a decade to do it in (I decided to do the 1970's) and two practices before we started the actual portraits, and when I did I had to draw a pattern in the background on the present side and paint it. I ended up painting over the original colour three times before I got it right. Then we had to glue on half of a cutout of our face from a photo onto the present side. Next we had to draw our decade side of the portrait. Next we had to dye the background of the decade side. Finally we had to colour the decade side of our portrait. It was a fun and unique experience, I liked it a lot. Here are some photos of the finished portraits (including mine):

NRL Inspire

Hello and welcome back to my blog, yesterday my syndicate got to be tested for an NRL program. This program is called NRL Inspire, NRL means National Rugby League. First we listened to a talk from the rugby player who was showing us the program, next we did a exercise with our teacher and a rugby ball. Then he talked to us about respect and then we watched a video on what NRL players think respect is. Then we did another exercise where we stood in a line and passed a ball behind our back, when the ball was passed to the end of the line the person who was holding it ran to the front and the process started again. Then we had to listen to the rugby player talk about respect to ourselves and others. It was a good program, I think they might come back to work with us again. Here are some photos:

Cybersmart

Hello and welcome back to my blog, today I'm going to talk about being Cybersmart. A part of Cybersmart is the Kawa of Care, the Kawa of Care is a set of rules for a chromebook. Some rules from the Kawa of Care are...  close your chromebook and use your keys gently, leave your chromebook on a table, hold your chromebook with to 2 hands and charge your chromebook out of the case. My syndicate used a site called Quizizz (link below) to learn the rules. Then we sorted out our bookmarks and copied a slide separately to write a description about our 6 most important bookmarks. Here are some links to Quizizz and the slide I used:
