Environmental group

Welcome to my last blog for Term 1 2019, a while ago the environmental group went to the Molly Green Day. We sold tons of products, after the Molly Green Day we put the rest of the leftover products in the office to be sold. We still have lots of let me tell you the details so you can come to Waikowhai Primary School and buy some we still have lots. The wax warps ( reusable fabric warp made of beeswax and fabric) are $8. Our amazing Kawakawa balm that is believed to have healing powers is only $3 for small and $8 for a big. Then finally we have our amazing worm wee is only $2.50 for 1.5 litres and $4 for 3 litres. Gumboot Friday

A while ago it was Gumboot Friday. Gumboot Friday is about mental health. Mental health includes our
emotional and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine
how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every
stage of life.

We wrote positive comments on cards for Gumboot Friday we wrote messages like,
“Don't ruin a good today by thinking about a bad yesterday. Let it go. Hope this makes your day.”

The idea came from Healthy Puketapapa Student Questionnaire, when we were doing that lots
of us chose mental health. One of the students in my Classroom suggested an idea to post cards
with positive comments in letterboxes.

It relates with our inquiry topic of well-being. A part of well-being is mental health because
it means you're positive and your life's ok.
My opinion of mental health is to

be positive and happy at stages in your life when you're frustrated.

The drain game

Welcome to my blog and today I'm going to talk to you about the drain game💦. The drain game is about our water that we use everyday, I learnt about how Wetlands stop floods and rainwater goes into the sea unlike detergent. I used a vr headset and I hope you enjoyed!😁
